Black DIAMONDZ ink we are about the origin, the concentrate, the muse that feeds flavours and inspires this current generation of diverse tattooist of colour, of inner city urban lifestyle of street art/culturally significant expression of the highest form. Our Owner and CEO jay “Mr Tat-Tookie” Morris has been tattooing for over 20 years during a time of extreme prejudice towards a man of colour getting into this industry let alone being the owner of the first Black Owned Tattoo studio in the West Midlands/UK.
Black DIAMONDZ Ink opened their doors in 2008 to critical acclaim having people travel the length and breadth of the country to get inked or even just seen at this Tattooing Mecca of culture. As well as incising rap and grime superstars travel from London to Los Angeles to take back with them a life long momento/certificate of authentication from a foundational monica steeped in a historical legacy of Birmingham inner city history, style and swagger.
